Southbury networking to help its seniors

Advocates for the town’s senior citizen population are establishing the Southbury Senior Network to enable agencies to work together. Attending its breakfast at the Jewish Federation of Western Connecticut in Southbury Wednesday were, standing from left, Attorney James J. Flaherty, Heritage Village President and CEO Roger J. Southbury, has the largest senior population by percentage in Connecticut. Southbury’s population of 19,727 includes 7,207 residents over age 60, accounting for 36.5 percent.
