|Trustees adopt dumpster policy – Still working on PODS|

The trustees created a new dumpster policy at the November 28, 2017 meeting. Using the same set aside method that the directors used to approve the newly approved suggested bylaws for the HVF, the final touches were ironed out on the dumpster policy one provision at a time. The policy can be read by clicking on the HVMA Meetings – Minutes and Agenda link and scrolling to the bottom of the page under Reports/Letters.
In other business the trustees felt that to be able to keep track of PODS, unit owners should be required get a no-fee POD permit that would keep track of who was using PODS. The action on the 4PLEX rule change was postponed until March 2018. It was suggested that a small committee be established to more clearly define “decorations” that could be firmly attached to the walls. There was also uncertainty about the possibility of a new Fire Chief some time before March. The new chief may have a different interpretation on acceptable decorations.
